Our Approach
At Bright Giggles Learning Center, we believe that every child is unique and has their own learning style. We follow a child-centered approach, where we focus on the individual needs of each child and provide a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our curriculum is designed to promote creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional development. We believe that learning should be fun and engaging, and we strive to make every day an adventure for your child.
Health & Safety
We understand that your child's health and safety are your top priorities, and they are ours too. We have strict procedures in place to ensure that our center is always clean and sanitized. Our staff is trained in first aid and CPR, and we have a secure entrance system to ensure that only authorized individuals can enter the center. We also follow all state and federal regulations, including those set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Our Mission
Bright Giggles Learning Center's mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for infant, toddler, and preschool children. Our focus is to help build a child’s physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and linguistic development, by encouraging positive experiences through exploration and discovery. Our goal is to support families and work as a team to prepare their children to be lifelong learners.
Our Philosophy
At BGLC we are deeply committed to creating a nurturing, stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environment where each child can grow, and flourish in a place as nurturing as home. BGLC recognizes parents/guardians as their child's first teachers and strongly encourages the active involvement and partnership of all parents within our program. Our goal is to provide a continuous process of building a child physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and linguistically. We believe in promoting a child's independence and self-confidence while cultivating a love for learning, and foster a strong sense of community and respect among all members.
Program Goals & Objectives
At BGLC, we believe that all children are unique individuals representing different cultural and ethnic beliefs. We encourage families to continue speaking their home language with their child while they are learning English also. We believe that if children are put into a positive and nurturing learning environment, they will grow to be the best that they can be.
We provide children with developmentally appropriate activities to help them grow. These daily activities help to create a positive learning environment where all children, no matter where they are developmentally, will continue to grow at their own individual pace in the areas of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive, and language development.
At BGLC, we believe that children learn through their own experiences. Our curriculum enhances curiosity and develops higher order thinking skills. We believe that the children should ask questions and try to find a solution to their questions by testing their solutions that they came up with. We believe that it is important for children to be individual thinkers, as well as being able to work together as a “team”.
BGLC believes that parents/guardians play a vital role in the success of their children’s education. We encourage parents/guardians to take part in the various functions/activities that BGLC offers. We also have an “open door” policy which allows family members to come in and see what their child is learning each day. We also strive to have open communication on a daily basis with each family. Open communication is the lifeline between our teachers and the families that attend BGLC . We feel that communication is the key to a successful relationship not only between the child and teacher, but also, between the teacher and the parents/guardians.
